About Me
I'm Lukas, a data engineer based in Ulm, Germany. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Data Science Management from the University of Applied Sciences Neu-Ulm and I'm currently pursuing my Master's in Intelligent Systems at Ulm University of Applied Sciences (THU).
Over the past 2.5 years as a Data Engineer at Stadtwerke Ulm/Neu-Ulm, I've built production data pipelines, monitoring systems, and batch-processing workflows. That experience taught me how much good engineering depends on good collaboration — I thrive in teams where ideas flow freely and everyone learns from each other.
What excites me most right now is the intersection of data engineering and AI. I'm deeply interested in agentic workflows and the new generation of AI-powered developer tools — this website, for example, was built entirely with Claude Code. I believe these technologies are reshaping how we build software, and I want to be at the forefront of that shift.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing tennis and volleyball or hosting game nights with friends.
